Cased tintype of an older woman, circa 1845

Description: 2 7/8 x 2 5/8 in. cased copy tintype of an older woman wearing a white cap. Her cheeks are tinted pink. Her clothing looks old fashioned, she could possibly be a Quaker. Although the image is fairly well focused, once it is removed from the case it is obvious from the top edge that this is a copy of an older photograph, possibly a daguerreotype which would date the original to the 1839-1860 era. The copy tintype dates from ca. 1856 through 1865.Stamped on the edge of the brass matt is: HOLMES BOOTH & HAYDENS SUPERFINE AND WATERBURY CONN NO 4? [41 or 42?].
