Description: Homer Rodeheaver, left, poses with pilot Lieutenant Lynn D. Merrill in front of a biplane. Rodeheaver was the music director for evangelist Billy Sunday from 1910 to 1930. Lieutenant L. D. Merrill was giving lessons and rides over Winona Lake from the Winona Assembly during the summer of 1921 and died in an airplane accident on August 25, 1921.
