The view looks northwest on Virginia Avenue with the Soldiers and Sailors Monument in the distance. Captioned The Indianapolis Traffic Director of 1918. This gentlemens [sic] station was in the middle of Pennsylvania [struckout with handwritten Virginia] and Maryland Streets and was used for well over twenty years as a form of traffic control in our city.
