Description: The woman wears a patterned robe and holds a sword prop.The other images from this collection depict Herron Summer School students at Winona Lake. According to The Herron Chronicle (Indiana University Press, 2003), the Winona Hotel was the schools headquarters and the classes were offered for six weeks at $7.50 to $9.00 per week. This woman is possibly a participant of the stagecraft course taught by Oakley Richey.
