Horse carts passing through Oaktown, Indiana, circa 1905

Description: This holiday card shows three horse-drawn carts near a church. There is a light snowfall on the ground. On the back of the card it reads Corn harvest or hauling to elevator. Near left crs [corners] Rush & Bond. Gen[eral] store. No through street to the church, nor North from the wagon (all a pasture). Center house, Lincoln Bond? Christian Church, 1904? Church of Christ? The holiday card was sent in 1974.A reader wrote 8/9/2018 to say, This is the Oaktown Christian church located on School St. It faces east.... The Church of Christ building shown on the left behind the white house is still in use....It is 206 Main St. The horses & wagons are on Broadway.
