Around 1950, 1040 West Broadway was the location of Everett Hunt Allis Chalmers tractor dealership. Several other automobile dealerships would be housed here, with most being affiliated with Pontiac by General Motors. The Funkhouse Fritz dealership was the last in the 1970s and it would later be a video rental store. The demolition occurred around 1998.
