Description: Three men and two dogs posed in front of the Jacob Poinsatte Place saloon. Also painted on the window is The East-End Park / Sample Room. It was located at 1016 Maumee Avenue. Advertising signs in the window promote Sunny Brook, Nebo Cigarettes, and Berghoff Beer. A Palace Theatre poster advertises Mrs. Eva Fay, the Travilla Brothers, and Art Adair, who performed in Fort Wayne in April 1916. Jacob Poinsatte (1865-1926), a native of France, was later known as Poinsette.
