Six men are seen around high snow drifts in front of the First National Bank. A sign in the snow reads Feby. 22-12. The J. Loeb store is seen next door. On the back is written Street scene, Covington, Ind.Research shows that this is the north side of the courthouse square along Washington Street looking west. The building with Corinthian columns is now [2021] 305 Washington Street. The main buildings in the view still remain, although the second floor of the left-most storefront has been removed. |
