Exterior view of the Andriakos Candy Store advertising lunch, soda, home made candy, chocolate drops, thick shakes, and ice cream. Written on the back of the Polaroid print is Greeks Candy Before Aprili 1964. The picture is dated before April 1964 because on April 1, of that year there was a fire in the building that kept it closed for some time. The building is located in the Ward Block, a name that dates back to the 1940s when the fire department was dispatched out to various blocks to fight fires. A bicycle and car are in front. |
