Description:	John H. Bass, Samuel T. Hanna and Horace H. Hannas plat addition to Fort Wayne, Ind. near the foundrys addition, in Section 12, Township 30 and Range 12 East. This image file is a 300 dpi, jpg2000 file, converted using Photoshop CS2 software from a 400 dpi, 24-bit, uncompressed TIFF image scanned on a Graphtec CS500 Pro Scanner Plat of Bass and Hannas addition to the City of Fort Wayne, Ind. We John H. Bass, Samuel T. Hanna, & Horace H. Hanna Proprietors do lay off the forgoing Plat as Bass & Hannas Addition to the City of Fort Wayne. It being a part of Section 12 Township 30 Range 12 East. Lots no 54 to 104 inclusive are a subdivision of out lots no 1.2.3.4. and north half of 5 laid out by Samuel Hanna South of the foundry addition. The length and width of each lot is marked in red ink and the width of the streets & alleys are marked in black ink. Lots no 1 to 53 inclusive and no 105 being laid out on the following described land. To wit commencing at the North East corner of out lot no 1 in Hannas Plat of Out Lots in said Section Town & Range & running South 5 degrees West 607 feet to the Southern boundary of the PHW & CRW. Thence along said boundary Eastward 410 feet to a Post. Thence South 5 degrees East 458 feet. Thence South 4 1/2 degrees East 1465 feet. Thence South 85 degrees West 374 feet. Thence north 4 1/2 degrees West 1446 feet to a Post & Nail at the place of beginning which is in the middle of Gay Street & the Eastern boundary is thirty feet from East of lots fronting on Smith Street. The streets and alleys run at right angles with each other corresponding with the affore [afore] said boundary. In witness whereof we have hereunto set our hands and seals this 23d day of October A.D. 1863. John H. Bass, seal; Samuel T. Hanna, seal; Horace H. Hanna, seal. Foundry addition, Jones St., Grant St., Horace St., Samuel Street, John St. Gay Street, Smith St. Scale 150 feet to an inch. Plat parallel with section lines. Situated in Town. 30 Range 12 and section 12.
