Map of land deeded by John B. Richardville to Samuel Hanna and Allen Hamilton on October 21, 1835. Samuel Hanna and Allen Hamilton then plotted the land into lots of forty acres or more. Jany [January] 22d 1845. The foregoing is a plat and survey of the Richardville Reserve into lots of forty acres and upwards, and numbered from one to sixteen; which Reserve lies east of the St. Marys in the county of Allen and State of Indiana, which section was conveyed by John B. Richardville to Samuel Hanna and Allen Hamilton by deed bearing date October twenty first eighteen hundred and thirty five, A.D. Recorded among the records of Allen County Book A. Pages 518 & 519. And we Samuel Hanna and Allen Hamilton proprieters [proprietors] do lay off said Reserve into forty acre lots and upwards. Given under our hands and seals this tenth day of September 1845. Samuel Hanna, Seal. Allen Hamilton, Seal. State of Indiana Allen County, S.S. Personally appeared before me O.W. Jefferds a notary public in and for said County. Samuel and Allen Hamilton above named and acknowledged the above plat as their act and deed for the uses and purposed therein named. Given under my hand and seal this tenth day of September 1845.
