Description:	Photograph taken by Elisha W. Poston of Calhoun Street, Fort Wayne, Indiana during the 1870s. During the 1870s looking north on Calhoun there were James Harper hats and Hat Factory at 30 and 70 Calhoun, respectively; Star Clothing House at 5 Main and 33 Calhoun Streets; Hamilton Bank on the west side of Calhoun and the east side of Main Streets and at 44 Calhoun Street; George DeWald Dry Goods at 1 Columbia Street (just a few words on the sign visible) and John Carl Tobacco & Cigars at 39 Calhoun Street. Grayscale 300 dpi, 8-bit or colored 300 dpi, 24-bit uncompressed Tiff image, scanned on a Fujitsu 5750C scanner using Jasc Paint Shop Pro 9 software.
