Description: |
Letter dated July 11, 1851 from John R. Chenault to Allen Hamilton concerning charges of fraud against the sons of Poqua Godfroy. The incident occurred in Harrisonville, Cass County, Missouri and suggests that James Aveline and Guion actually signed the deed instead of the Godfroy's sons. This image file was derived from a 300 dpi, 8-bit, uncompressed TIFF image that was scanned from the original using a Fijtsu M4097D IPC scanner with Jasc Paint Shop Pro 9 software, grayscale configuration |
