Chenault's Letter to Allen Hamilton

Description: Letter dated July 11, 1851 from John R. Chenault to Allen Hamilton concerning charges of fraud against the sons of Poqua Godfroy. The incident occurred in Harrisonville, Cass County, Missouri and suggests that James Aveline and Guion actually signed the deed instead of the Godfroy's sons.
