Description: |
A damaged Winona Interurban car is shown with two young men standing in the damaged area. Obviously much of the debris has been hauled away. One can get an idea of interior construction of these wooden cars. This car was in the collision of the two units near the Arnold siding which is between New Paris and Milford, Indiana. The information on the back of this image tells us that Bert Larkin the motorman was killed. William (Bill) Winebrenner was the conductor. The description states that Arnolds siding is approximately three miles north of Milford, Indiana in Elkhart County. |
