Dear Grace:- Every day gets better here, that is we enjoy it more. There is no end to good things. We went swimming today for the first time. Hope to be experts in it by the time we leave here. It is impossible to write about the wonderful speakers we hear each day. Gally Curce was good last night but a gospel singer suits us better. With love, Bessie. Addressed to, Miss Grace Patton, Divernon, Ills. The writer of this postcard pens that the image does not do the Sunday home justice. The home sets well above the glacial lake and the photographer ommited a number of the steps, which could make one think that the house was on a relatively flat lot. |
