Front: Script at top of postcard reads, Milford H. Lyons, (the Evangelist) Residence, Winona Lake, Ind. Sign above door reads, Faerholm.Back: Body of message reads, Arrived O.K. Train was 2 hrs late arriving at Winona Barbara is down stairs playing in the sand. Will write later. Mrs. George. Addressed to, Miss Bertha Snyder, Fostoria, Ohio. S. Main. Faerholm was, at one time, the home of Milford Hall Lyons family. The house was built on the foundation of a house that had been destroyed by the 1914 Winona Lake fire and was completed in 1917. Lyons lived there until 1926. Lyons was an evangelist. The house is located on Chestnut Street. |
