Description: Front: Script at bottom of postcard reads, One of the cottages, Bethany Girls Camp, Winona Lake, Ind.Back: Body of message reads, Dear Beryle, Am spending a little time here with a group of girls. I brought Doris along, hoping that she will like it, but she is very shy with other girls. So far the weather has been nice with several good rains. Ferne. Addressed to, Miss Beryle Howe, Scenic, S. Dakota, R.F.D.
A nice view of the wonderfully landscaped Camp Bethany Building along with the brick sidewalk. The message reveals that there had been several good rains. Most vacationers are unhappy with rain. However when we see, from the postcards address, that the writer is from the town of Senic, South Dakota located adjacent to the Badlands National Park. She probably appreciated the thought and sound of rain more than most people. The whole town of Senic, as a side note, was offered for sale in 2011 for $799,00
