Back: Printed script reads, Around the camp fire, Greetings from Winona Lake, Ind. Message reads, Greetings for the name of the month from Hoosier Post card club - #1! Mrs. Clyde D. Price 224 Franklin Plymouth Ind. Addressed to, Joseph C. Roive, Box 98 Brookston, Ind. Each summer the Chicago Boys Club would bring campers to the CBC camp in Winona Lake. Most sessions lasted one week. In earlier times the campers would travel by train and in the later years they traveled in school buses. This image is apparently taken at one of the evening camp fires. A game is apparently being played, as on of the campers is blindfolded. |
