The boat dock at Winona Lake. The photographer would have been standing along Park Ave. looking westward. The wooden dock featuring the steam powered City of Warsaw is seen on the left side of the dock. The right side of the dock shows the covered docks were the smaller launches could be boarded. The writer says that he will be taking folks to Warsaw to get the 11:32. He is writing to people in the small Ohio town of Kirby. One could conclude that the people getting on the train in Warsaw would travel to Upper Sandusky, Ohio via the Pennsylvania Railroad on their way to Kirby.
