Front: Printed script at top of postcard reads, Bathing Pavilion, Winona Lake, Ind.Back: Message reads, Deat Besse, This is a beautiful morning after the cold blustery day yesterday. I am going to get me a new skirt some time today. They are going to have a sale on skirts this week so will take advantage if I can find anything to suit me. How did you have your new dress made? I know it must be very pretty for the goods was so nice. The girls got an awful calling down from H. yesterday noon. Ethie, Clara, and I wasnt in it. He is so terribly cranky and gets worse. He is stewed all of the time and I think he should be reported. The message on the card was probably written by a summer employee of the the Winona Assembly. The store was going to have a sale on skirts, and she reports that a supervisor was unhappy and apparently was stewed all of the time. |
