Description: |
Script at bottom of postcard reads, John, the drunkard, marching up to the butcher shop. Billy Sunday did not permit photographers to photograph him during actual preaching. The devices needed to provide the light for indoor photography would have been very distracting. However, Sunday was willing to pose for photographers. The line from a sermon mentioned on this card was one that he used in his fight against liquor. |
