To the Trustees of Wabash College, Dear & honored Sirs, Prof. Hovey writes that you have conferred on me the title of Master of Arts. Please accept my thanks, I accept the title as an expression of your approbation of my efforts to improve upon the capital your noble Institution lent me long years ago; & of your interest in the missionary work, which you have the name of holding as the greatest of all works. Yours Fraternally, A.A. Sturges, Ascension Island, February 25th, 1867.
