Menominee Wetland Conservation Area. In transition zone between dry-mesic upland forest and submergent marsh, on shallow slope in sandy loam just above shrub zone of submergent marsh. Associated species: Acer rubrum, Cephalanthus occidentalis, Osmundastrum cinnamomeum, Quercus palustris, Sassafras albidum, Vaccinium corymbosum. |
