Flowers and plants in the Apothecary Garden, located between Robertson Hall and the Pharmacy Building. Some of the plants on the right side of the path include Chaste tree (Vitus agnus-castus), which is the plant with the purple flowers, Zebra grass (Miscanthus sinensis), and black eyed Susans. The plants on the left side include Lady’s mantle (Alchemilla mollis) and Elecampane (Inula helenium), which is the tall plant with the yellow flowers. Originally developed in 1996 by College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences (COPHS) Professor Waqar Bhatti, landscape architect Ron Howe, and landscape designer Barbara Wilde, the garden was created to honor COPHS. |
