The nextnine places were: BHS, 74;Wiley, 111; Gerstmeyer, 113;Pimento, 120; Jeff of Lafayette, 122; Frankfort, 167; Fil-more, 170; Attica, 193 andGarfield.The state meet found theUnivees in second place behindAnderson. The next six placesin order were North Side FortWayne (tied for second),Shortridge, Tech of Indianapolis, and Muncie Central.The building process of theteam has been aided by fourdifferent coaches in the pastfour years. This year’s coachwas Mr. Berry, who came toUniversity school from Anderson.*On your mark! Get set! Off for a perfect score against Bloomfield.Four of this year’s first five members, Tim Wininger, BillRobinson, Ted Moorman, and Dan Bailey, are seniors. The onereturning letterman, Bill Ream, will join with Steve Hoadley,Bob Dickerman, and Phil Doty to form a nucleus for nextyear’s team.WrestlingIn their second year of wrestling, supervisedby Coach Gray, the Univees grappled in thesectional at Bloomington. Harold Ooley, wrestling at 133 pounds, placed third; W. R. Dunncopped a fourth at 128 pounds; and BuddySanders wrestled his way to fourth positionat 96 pounds.Others on the team who wrestled in the sectional were Bill Seagers, John McFall, DickAnderson, and Dudley Appelman.
