v .-M•1VARSITY FOOTBALLThis year, for the first time in the history of University School, football was addedto our athletic program. Practice and game uniforms were loaned to us by the Indiana University Athletic Department, and practice started on August 15 for approximately 2 5 boys.Our season opened when we encountered Greensburg on the Columbus gridiron. Wewere victorious in our game and defeated them 24 to 12.During the season several of the boys suffered injuries due to the lack of experience,but on the whole the team had a very successful season.
