Description: Perhaps you have seen a large, hlack ob-jeet moving down the hall, usually (and let’shope) with two hoys following it. This pro-eesson is the Projectors Cluh in motion. Thisclub renders a real service to its school bymaking available, at any hour during theday, films of all types for many differentsubjects. If you need a film, just go to theProjectors Cluh. They’ll give you anythingfrom saponification to Shakespeare.Sportsmanship, fair play, and high idealsare aims of the Hi-Y Club. Look around andyou will see evidences of the Hi-Y Club atwork. The motto board on the first floor andthe slogan in the gym are just two examplesof the Hi-Y’s fine attitude. This is the typeof cooperation and spirit that every schoolneeds. More power to the Hi-Y and keep upthat good work.F. H. A.—Future Homemakers of America to you who are the uninitiated, is a clubcomposed of girls interested in everythingfrom how to make a biscuit rise to how torefinish a chair. They cook, sew, and studyinterior decoration for their own use as wellas—well—who knows?The guardian and protector of our schoolis the Safety Patrol. They see that everyonedoes everything right! If you have that urgeto jay-walk when a safety patrol is on duty,Id suggest that you squelch it with haste.The Safety Patrol keeps things runningnesday morning and you will find the Jordanborders of our dear, old Alma Mater.The gym fairly rings and echoes with goodfun and clean sports on Thursday afternoons after school. It’s the G. A. A. havingexciting sessions of volleyball, basketball,baseball, or speedball. Take your pick andstart playing. There’s always room for onemore. Of course, athletes have to eat andthe Girls Athletic Association certainly isn’tlacking in that respect. Our pot-luck suppers provide plenty of tasty food and lotsof good fun.Slowly open the auditorium door on Wednesday morning and you will find the JordanJesters—“emoting” with true dramatic fervour. Jordan Jesters, the dramatic club ofUniversity School, has done more than givesuch entertaining productions as A Case ofSpringtime and Arsenic and Old Lace, butthey have, also, taught the fundamentals ofliving together—cooperation, industry,fair play, spirit, anfl hard work.
