The Future Business Leaders of America Club continued to examine the problems of business it) America today, and how to get a summerjob.In the audio-visual department the big news wasthe award made by the Minnesota Mining and Machines Company. The award consisted of $3,000of new equipment including overhead projectors,copying machines, and transparent film. Mr. Vernon Brugger brought the award to U-school bya paper he wrote, explaining the need for. and possible uses of, the equipment.Mrs. John Figg donated an award to the homeeconomics department, in the form of a plaqueand loving cup to be presented to the outstandingsenior girl in the department.
