Highlight of theseason was the fine showing of Ray Webb, Uni-vee freshman, who was topped only once during the campaign and grabbed off the 120-pound state crown to help the Univees place 11thin state finals. Senior F. G. Summitt also copped a sectional runner-up berth in the 133-pound class. The wrestlers were a young team:only four of the twelve boys doing most of thework were seniors. On the individual side, FredCurry handled most of the 9 5-pound chores,gaining valuable experience in the berth. In the103-pound class, Doug Dixon, a sophomore, heldforth. 112-pounder John Bowen, anothersophomore, also wrestled his second year at aregular post and should give two more years ofskilled performances. The 127-pound lead wasJoe Roman, undefeated this year in regular action. The 13 8-pounder was Ron Mills, seniorwho had some good matches although he was injured during part of the season. The 145-poundclass was the domain of senior Cliff Curry. Junior Dan McPheron was the 154-pounderthroughout the year, recording some impressive victories. Junior Clay Williams was therecipient of the 165-pound job and camethrough in fine fashion. Senior Jay Suer, at 175,played a major part in Univee wins this year. Atheavyweight, sophomore P. T.
