Because theclub is especially interested in bettering familyrelations, they have had both a mother-daughter Christmas Party and a date night for fathers.Other activities include selling holly, a springstyle show, a bake sale, a senior awards dinnerin the spring and special rush” day in whichthe freshmen are introduced to the club. President Jo Ellen Royer was also elected parliamentarian of the state FHA. Other officers includevice-president Sandy Hammond, secretary Marcia Shadley, and treasurer Suan Hooten.Nine boys volunteer their services to run projectors for teachers and to make 3 5 mm slidesfor the slide projector and teaching aids for theoverhead projector, a new addition this year.During the first semester, University Schoolstudents saw 565 films and 24 film strips—double the number used last year—in additionto an occasional film sponsored by large companies such as GM.
