Oureducation is incomplete until we learn towork with and communicate with our contemporaries. At U-Scbool, students areoffered extracurricular opportunities1 indramatics, athletics, science, and journalism. Students in these activities learn suchuseful skills as how to speak before anaudience. We learn to express ourselvesclearly and budget our time wisely—talents which will be necessary all our life.There are leisure time skills too. A part ina Jordan Jester play may lead to a lifelong avocation in dramatics. QUADstaff assignments may be the first steptoward a hobby of writing. Participationin Youth Legislative Assembly teachesstudents parliamentary procedure. InGAA, girls may develop sports interestsenjoyable long after graduation. Most important, however, is the chance to meetand work cooperatively with others.
