The students choose the field ofscience that they want to work in and then, withthe correct supervision, start to work. This yearthere were three main objectives — one group triedto make aspirins, another tried to separate chlorophyll by absorption, and the third went to OwenHall to study fossils.The Photography Club is for students interestedin taking, developing, or printing pictures. Thisyear, under the direction of John Schrodt, thestudents learned how to take better pictures andhow to get good clear prints and enlargements fromtheir negatives.The Study Club is made up of students who wishto spend their activity periods working on theirhomework or reading on other topics.
