Later on we begin subtraction with borrowing. Our teacher says weneed more practice in telling time, so wehave to do more of that as we advance.Language is our new subject, and wewill learn about the use of words, sentencemeanings, word abbreviations, letter writing, invitations, conversation, and manyother fundamental rules for good English.Writing spelling words takes a lot oftime too. We will try to fly high inour airplanes this year. Each time wemake 100 on our unit words, we get tofly a little higher. This about covers what we are tryingto accomplish in the third grade except wedo make our room look pretty. Before longwe will begin making a wall plaque to takehome Christmas.„■ * |
