Big year for Seniors.5 Classes begin with a big confusion.10 Seniors took the day off to get ads for the annual.12 Seniors worked on floats for the Fall Festival.13 The band placed eighth and the floats placed third at the Fall Festival.16 Seniors ordered name cards and announcements.17 Seniors had their first Government class.18 High school yell leaders were elected today.20 Photographers came to talk to the Seniors. They chose Porters National Studio.24 Pep Club was organized. Mrs. Booth was the sponsor.27 Junior high yell leaders were elected.30 Seniors picked colors for their graduation gowns.October 1 Basketball practice started for the first time. GOOD LUCK, BOYS.3 Beta Club was reorganized. Mrs. Edstrom was the sponsor.7 Seniors picked Artmaster Yearbooks, Inc. to print their yearbook.8 Seniors received their candy to sell. Hope we have REAL GOOD LUCK.15 The black snake in room 12 stuck its tongue out at the Senior girls in Governmentclass. It surely must have had bad eyes!!!Seniors put out first school paper.Eight Seniors went to Bloomington to take scholarship tests.Flu epidemic is getting started.Teachers Institute.Seniors had their pictures taken.Activity pictures were taken for annual.A representative from the Greyhound came to explain Senior trips.Seniors talked about selling fruit cakes.A representative from the Miller Tours talked to the Seniors.P. T. A. had the Grand Ole Opry at schoolhouse. Blue Tri Initiation.A representative from the Forlow Bus Lines talked to the Seniors. They selectedcaps and gowns from the Moore Company. They crowned our homecoming basketball queen, Barbara Britton.27 Thanksgiving vacation. Rev. Wallace Scales spoke at assembly.16 Christmas program.19 Senior class party at June Snodgrass. Mrs. Booth got stuck in the mud.20 School is out for two weeks vacation.January 6 Sophomores got their class rings.7 B & O Railroad man spoke to the Seniors about a trip.10 Senior boys got their ball jackets.23-24 Semester exams.February 7 Seniors received their announcements and name cards.8 Solo and Ensemble contest at Indiana University.15 Junior class sponsored the Valentine Dance.22 State Music Contest.March 8 P. T. A.
