Some of the attractions of the carnival were: dart throwing, basketball toss, bingo, fortune-telling, kissing booth, fish pond, spook house, novelty sales, amateur contest, wrestling and boxing, cake walk, food booth, door prizes, and the junior high and senior high king and queen contest.This last semester, the class was very successful in selling Hammermill Bond stationery.On March 10, we had a gigantic bake sale in front of Penneys Department Store in Bloomington.Due to the Semi-finals crowd, we were able to add quite a lot to the class coffers.March 31 brought about the Junior-Senior Reception with its delicious meal, dancing and specialattractions.On April 28th, the class relived last years Centennial with an old-fashioned box supper at theschool.As a climax to another successful school year, we sponsored the Farewell Sock Hop on May 11.34mm■■■HMH |
