Description:	Senior Class ProphecyIt is the year of 1971, and I, TENA ANDERSON, was flying over Africa, the next stop on my worldtour.As I was flying along on this particular day, the engine of my helicopter began spitting and sputtering. At once, I realized that I was going to crash! As the helicopter began going down, down, down, Ipictured tomorrows headlines—WORLD KNOWN SPEECH THERAPY EXPERT MISSING.However, to my amazement and delight, I awoke a few hours later in a small clearing in the depthsof Africa to find a strange looking man before me. This man, who identified himself as king of a particulartribe, informed me that I was in fine condition and that my helicopter would soon be in an equallysatisfactory condition.Then, this bizarre and kind gentleman handed me a gold locket, which he had removed from his neck,and informed me that any wish I might desire could be fulfilled by simply opening the lovely locket. AsI listened to the kings exciting statement, I realized that I hadnt seen my classmates for ten years.With this thought in mind, I slowly opened the locket and awaited the arrival of my old friends.At last, a hazy picture appeared and I recognized MARY LOU HATFIELD. MARY LOU and JOHNTRISLER have been married now for nine years. MARY LOU owns a local campus coffee shop atPurdue University where JOHN teaches in the area of electrical engineering.Next, I saw JERRY CHAMBERS, as an executive designer at General Motors. Lately, JERRY hasdesigned such cars as the Flight and the Torquil. Both are award winners.Now, SARAH FISH and ROBERT SOUDERS appear as an obviously happily married couple, whoare proud parents of three charming children. They are very active in P.T.A. of which GLENDAMITCHELL is president. GLENDA and David are understandably proud of their very pretty twin daughters. In her spare time, GLENDA fulfills an old ambition through her work as a surgical nurse.CURTIS SYLVESTER, is happily married to Judy Godsey. CURTIS went to Indiana Universityand is presently a principal at a local high school. The SYLVESTER family has just returned froman European tour.MARYANNE NELLINGER,is married to her high school beau, Jack Eads. Jack and MARYANNEmarried the summer after our graduation and are now proud parents of a boy and girl.RALPH HEARTH, is in the United States Army. RALPH joined the army after graduation, becamea military policeman, and decided to make a career of the service.SHARI COMBS, has married Homer. SHARI, Homer, and their four children live on a.farm, andSHARI serves as a den mother for the Cub Scouts in her spare time.WAYNE CHAMBERS,is very contented as the county dog catcher. He has his own kennels forpoor dogs that just cannot go to the dog pound. Recently, WAYNE won the good citizenship trophyfor his kindness to animals and friends.JACQUELYN LYNN, has graduated from Purdue University and is now a home economics teacher,fer interest in this field originated when she won the Betty Crocker Homemaker of the Year Award.HERSHEL HANSON, was the 1970 winner of the 500 mile race. So far, he has won thousandsof dollars and he is now planning to take a cruise on his new yacht with his new bride.JUDY HAWKINS, is happily married to the man of her dreams. She is a beautician and has ashop in her home. JUDY has won national fame for her latest hair styles.TREVA DECKARD, is running a Missing Persons Bureau in Chicago; however, she has not yetfound a single man! TREVA has been elected the 1970 queen of the Policemans Ball.TONY CRACRAFT, has a large ranch in Texas where he raises horses for movie producers. TONYis happily married to a Hollywood star. He has also started a new club called the Better Horses andHealth Club.KAY ANDERSON, is married and is very successful in her work as the Smithville gym teacher. KAYis presently doing advance work in the area of teaching methods, so that she can improve her presentteaching methods.
