This wasfollowed by their losing four games. In our game withEminence our team bounced back as winners, and showedimprovement from this time on. It took time to moldinexperienced boys, but in time they proved themselvesa capable team. On January 29, 1960, we played ourlast game in the old gymnasium and we are lookingforward to the facilities of a new gymnasium next year.Especially noteworthy has been the good sportsmanship manifested by team members during the season.Earl Lucas, Senior, has proven himself to be a verydependable member of the Skibo five.Area high point man was Larry Perry, “The Smithville Sensation.’’Perry’s partner on the floor was John Richardson,also a high point man.
