JUNIOR HIGHIn Junior High, the eighth graders are the most important people because sevens are newto everything. Among other things, the sevens soon learned the new routines, how to get alongwithout a recess, and how to treat seniors with respect.The seventh grade of forty-six students elected these officers: Allan Chandler, presidentand student council; Judy Miller, vice-president; Judy Eads, secretary, and Sandra Deckard,treasurer.The eighth grade from their roll of forty-nine students chose Terry Hayse for president andstudent council; Margaret Trisler, vice-president; Connie Figg, secretary; and TeddieSowders,treasurer.The sponsors of the seventh grade are Mrs. Kaufman and Mrs.Bennett; and Mrs. Blackwood sponsors of the eighth grade.Each class is allowed one party or outing each semester.
