There are workbooks in reading, numbers, and spelling that help us think and do. Mrs. Weimer gives us lotsof work on the chalkboard too. She comes around to see and gradeour work. Sometimes she has to help us.The second semester we began cursive writing. We went to theboard to practice on each letter and now we can write them all!We feel much more grown up now, since our writing looks likeMrs. Weimer’s.MARJORIE BURRISThird Grade Teacher35There are sixteen girls and nine boys in the third grade. We liketo read, but we like Arithmetic best of all. We like the games andtime tests in Arithmetic. Some day we hope to be able to do “big”problems.
