Her white cakewon the blue ribbon and Grand Championship there.The same kind of cake won a red ribbon at the StateFair.Wallace McConnell won Champion and first in hisclass awards with his all Scotch Shorthorn Steer inthe Monroe County Fair last fall. He also won a showhalter as a prize for the award of showmanship.At the State Fair, the same calf won first place inhis class.At the Gold Medal Show in Martinsville he was a-warded second in his class. |
