CLASS WILLWe, the Seniors of Smithville High School, of the townof Smithville, and state of Indiana, in the year of 1959,most of us being of sound mind, on the occasion of ourleaving this high school, do hereby ordain and establishthis, our last will and testament, the provisions of whichare to be faithfully carried out by the Juniors of this highschool.First: We leave to the Juniors our Civics books andour Civics teacher, Mr. Trisler, providing the Juniors willconduct themselves in such a dignified manner that Mr.Trisler won’t have to ask them to -’please be quiet I”Second: We leave to the Sophomores our ability topromenade through the halls at noon and recess without beingcalled down.Third: We bestow upon the Freshmen our ability ofgetting out of classes by being sent to the office providingthey aren’t as afraid of the principal as we were when wewere freshmen.Fourth: We leave to the various teachers who haveguided us through all our school ’’daze” only pleasantmemories of us, hoping that they will forget any unpleasantones.The following are individual wills of the Seniors.Gwendolyn Greene wills her good grades to her sister, Nancy,so Nancy can get on the honor roll.Ruth Hall wills everything she has learned at night schoolto Margaret Sowders.Lloyd Johnson wills his cute bangs to David Freeze.Homer Humphrey wills his big blue eyes to Lucille Swango.Dorothy Butcher wills her place as the only girl in thephysics class to Bernice Ridge provided Tom Sylvester takesthe course.Robert Pennington wills his way with the girls to John Hill.Russel Johnson wills his job on the N.Y.A. to Freeman Wisley |
