Description: Introduction: Its a treeYes , its a tree....a tree masquerading as a book. Thats its secret.Trust us, we know these things. So, its a tree, ok, were glad thats’ settled. Now inside this tree youll find many other secrets. Youll ■notice them because theyre in teeny-tiny type-9 point Palatino to be |exact. And they cover all possible areas. In fact, were confident. weve left no stone unturned—what is to be said, has been said; whatsbest left unsaid, well, well leave that for another issue. But, havingsaid it all, it seemed redundant to ask our celebrities to wax-poetic onareas we could wax ourselves. So, brainy us, we asked them their• uniquely essential secret-the SECRET OF THEIR SUCCESS. Andwho better than General Manuel Noreiga, Jim Bakker, Marge Schott, and Tipper Gore to shed some light on the drive shaft of the humancondition. The fact that two of these, Noreiga and Bakker, reside inprison, and a third, Schott, occupies the role of societys currentwhipping post, only makes their remarks more intriguing. And Tipper.Gore, our First-Second Lady, approaches matters from the tried-and-true position of the socially acceptable, that even inveterate rapper Ice 1T would have a hard time finding fault with her position. But not to be• undone, we also bring you greetings from three figures who were soeager, so excited, so committed to being in our little book, we didnthave the heart to disappoint them—exercise guru Richard Simmons, golfer Dan Quayle, and ex Vice President Arnold Palmer. No, wait aminute, reverse that, Quayle was the Vice President and we appreciatehis chutzpah in contributing to our cause. But its Bakker who we wantto single out. Take a few minutes to read what he has to say-the man *knows how to tell a story. And that story, like the ones from the other175 people in this book, create a compelling vision of who we are. But,*we wont tell you what that vision is-thatll be our little secret.
