Description: BAT TOWNOnce there was a town. Bats were theonly things that lived there. That town hadtwo baseball teams. One team was great, butthe other was the worst team ever. One day they had to play each other, andOh, before I forget, the good teamsname is the Hitters and the other teamsname is the Egg Beaters.Anyway, the game started. TheHitters were up first and before the firstminute they were winning 12 to 0. After anhour or 2 the Egg Beaters were finally up,but in two minutes they had 2 outs. Rightbefore they got 1 run they got the 3rd out.Luckily for the Eggbeaters, the tidechanged. They got the Hitters out in 30seconds, and then a miracle occurred. TheEggbeaters scored 12 runs before the Hitterswere up again. Nobody scored for a while. The announcer said over theloudspeaker. THANK YOU FOR COMING TOTHE GAME. As you all know this is thefinal game. Whoever wins this game is thechamp. The Hitters were not surprised whenthey came here and heard that they wouldbe playing in this game. But when theEggbeaters heard that they were coming, they nearly put their socks on over theirboots.By now it was tied at 18, and it wasthe bottom of the 9th. The Hitters were up.They scored once before each out, so theyhad 22 when the Eggbeaters were up. Theygot 2 outs right away, but then the bases gotloaded right away and everyone on the teamwas injured, so the bat boy came to theplate. The crowd booed and booed andbooed. The pitcher laughed and threw theball. The bat boy swung....He missed. Thepitcher pitched againHe missed again. The people on base got really tired. Thepitcher pitched againHe hit it!
