A., which is certainly abright spot for the girls to look forward to.Upon entering high school, any girl is eligibleto belong to the organization. When she hasearned enough (100) points, she is awardedan honor letter and then a sweater. Thepoints are earned by attending and participating in the meetings and activities. Suchactivities as skating, hiking, dancing, volleyball, baseball and basketball are undertakenenergetically. This year we played two softball games with Spencer. We were beatenboth times, but this does not discourage themembers because they continue to fight withthe same spirit. We also play volley ball andbasketball with the Spencer G. A. A.Mrs. Edna Rush sponsors the G. A. AThis is her first year, and she has kept upthe swing of our G. A. A. very nicely.This year, for the first time we madeand sold novelties at the Wabash ValleyTourney, which was held in our gym. Alongwith hearing popcorn, cracker jacks, peanuts. you heard baloons. streamers, andsouvenirs.The members of the Senior Class whohave earned their letters or sweaters are Virginia Neal, Dottie Hay, Marcella Howard,Barbara Howard, Dorothy Fiscus,. ElizabethAnn Allen, Phyllis Nethery, Charlotte Bastin,Carolyn Kell, Betty Lawyer, Carol May andMartha Smith. The sophomores getting theirletters this year are Laura Brinson. PhyllisChristie, Wilodene Gifford, Joan Hay, JoanLibkie, and Martha TurnerThe officers of the G. A.
