Description: |
OWL J>A&&JwiA. (folSLNow to hear about the largest class that dwells in the nest.We are a swell bunch. You couldnt say that we are exactlygreen, because we have been around in the lower grades for thepast eight years. We enjoy the new ways of study. We donthave so many subjects, which of course is very much appreciated. We have a fine sponsor, too. Mr. Goldsberry is a lot of fun.Although we are not allowed to have too many activities as theother classes, we have had a good time in our school functions. We know we have a long way to go to reach the things wewish to achieve. Being the freshies, we understand why we aretold to study and to observe what we are taught. This we knowwe should do, but it is hard to do because we find we have muchmore liberty than we had in the grades.Although we are not represented on the first team, we havefour members on the second team. Of this we are proud, for asyou know, they make up the future team for E.H.S.First Row:John Keller, Charlotte Boltinghouse, LoisScoville Patty f Butterbaugh, Joyce Still,Ruth Bean, Estel Sparks.Second Row:Ruby DeWar, Martha Dell Leach, MaryRose Terrell, Jeannie Kelley, PhyllisHahn, Roger Gooldy.Third Row:Bobbie Nethery, Patricia Clendenning,Nancy Buchanan, Phyllis Justis, BettyBranum, Naomi Stogsdill, Emma Pfaff.Fourth Row:Jack Holler, Mickey Matson, Barbara LouStephenson, Mary Elizabeth Tapp, MarthaJohnson, Rose Miller, Bobby Acuff.Fifth Row:Daniel Webb, Mary Alice Oliver, Madeline Baynes, Mary Sue Halstead, RosemaryMcKinney, Betty Roberts, Carl Dillman.Sixth Row:Frank Goble, Oman Dean Sears, DonMcClintock, Don Ellett, George Daniels.Page thirtyThe 1946 Llamarada |
