Cant we hear Loester singing SweetViolet instead of Sweet Adeline.5 Quite a full week for Carl. He went to sleep in class this morning.8 Play practice. Miss Williams giving us a work-out.9 More play practice.10 Nurse talks to Senior girls. Play practice and dress rehearsal.11 Class play. Rex Webbs glasses were quite a misfit.12 Senior play again tonight, A little better performance.13 Saturday and a busy day at that, because of Spelling Bee.14 We hope everyone went to Sunday School.15 Rev. AVhite spoke for devotions. Students studying for exams. Get capsand gowns.16 Seniors have exams. Most all of them deep down in their heart hate to leave.17 Seniors just cant stay away. Most of them are back to school today.18 Practice for class night, and what a class night. Hubert Grubb did rightwell with his Mother Goose rhymes.19 Chorus went to Bedford.20 Junior-Senior reception. Everyone reported a good time. Before, at, andafter banquet.21 The Seniors first real serious moment—Baccalaureate services. They looked real nice.22 May Day program. Virginia Day had the honor of being queen. We feelno one could have been more worthy.23 The final program for Seniors—Commencement. Most hearts were a littlesad because of leaving.25 Last of school—plenty of tears.Page Thirty-four |
