LLAMARADACALENDARSeptember5 School started with a bang.6 A mix-up over classes, even the Seniors got lost.7 Everyone is having a hard time keeping cool.8 The school band is getting under way, starting today.11 Mr. Stewart gave a talk on the love problem.12 Had first fire drill, lots of burns and then no fire!13 Larry Mustard broke his leg.14 Fall Festival.15 Fall Festival. Jerry, Carl, and Lucille fell off the truck.18 Everyone tired today after all the Festival.19 Elected school treasurer.20 Seniors began typing on the first Eagle.21 First copy of the Eagle came out.22 Seniors had a class meeting to buy invitations.October4 Got first report cards, and many headaches.5 Seniors had a class party.9 Some of the Seniors went to get ads.13 The first P.-T. A. meeting.14 The school sponsors Sunshine Sue tonight.18 Jerry must have had something on her mind; She missed her seat and fell onthe floor.19 Third edition of Eagle came out,22 Seniors went to get ads.23 Everyone glad for a two-day vacation at the teachers expense.31 Girls and boys council meeting.November2 The shop class and Senior girls went to Showers factory.3 The season basketball ticket sales ended with the Senior class winning byselling the most tickets.7 Seniors and Juniors went to Bloomington High School to hear lecture onColleges and Universities.8 The Senior Civics class went to Indianapolis9 Some of the Seniors went to get ads.10 Ellettsville played West Baden; 36 to 23, Ellettsville.11 The advanced typing class went to Danville.14 Junior class had a class party.15 Sophomore and Freshman initiation.17 Eagle came out. Did anyone notice the difference?22 Played Bloomington, Gosh we got beat, 20-19.23 Off for another vacation.24 Everyone still home on their Thanksgiving vacation.27 School building cold; everyone is about to freeze.Page Thirty-two |
