Sallys Fiance Garland RanardPaul Hammond, Butler Wayne HallColonel Delray, Grandpa Maurice StinesMavis Jordan, the Colonels Secretary Ercell FenderDr. Green, an Osteopath Walter FreemanOBrian, the Officer Albert BurchWHAT THE PUBLIC DID NOT SEEOpal liked very much the slapping of Wayne Hall; she reallyput him in his place. Wayne Gorham was never in place; he finallygot hold of the gun and kept it. He took no chances. Rememberwhen Dorothy did not know her second act? Bertrices bucket wasfilled with lemons, doughnuts and pickles instead of warter. MaryAlice developed laryngitis and devoured pickles and lemons behindstage. Ruth and Gar did not practice their parts much. Wayne Hallhad to work quite a lot on the hand-holding scenes. Alexanders fitsgrew better and better all the time; his treatment by Walter each timeseemed to be working the wrong way. Walter learned a lot of newwords. Ercell liked to act, and her Hawkins, Hawkins, Hawkins, created quite an uproar sometimes. Maurice was the one who was responsible for the pre-practice entertainment. He had the key to thesupply room. Albert almost resigned his position on the police force;but his resignation was not accepted. This was the last play to begiven by the Seniors of 1938. It was well attended and really enjoyedby all.
