Besidesbeing the biggest, they were also the last ofthe classes from two different junior highschools to be combined in the first year of highschool. With the new junior high completed,the Stinesville and Ellettsville classes will becombined at the sixth grade level.Sophomores broke a standing tradition thathas been followed by every class that haschosen class rings when they decided to receive their rings as sophomores. Ordering theirrings in the fall, the class of 72 received theirrings in time to show them off the summerbefore their junior year.The juniors while not breaking traditionstarted one. They were responsible for thedesigning of a custom school ring, one thatwas designed especially for Edgewood. Withmagazine sales and prom plans for May, theJunior class anticipated their role as seniorsin 1971.Each class, with its own credits and ideas,look to the day when they reach the top of theacademic ladder.
