She pulled theteam by running the long distance events, in whichshe ended up breaking a school record by 20seconds against the 1999 record-placer Erin^^ Vagedes in the 3,200 with a time of 11:32.I treasure sports more than what I didbecause I experienced how much it hurt me thatI couldnt do anything so I take more notice indoing it and work harder at it because younever know what you have until its reallygone, Thornton said.Thornton said she was grateful for being backat Edgewood and being able to contribute to herteams success.1.
